This week <\/span>Once Bitten<\/u><\/span><\/em><\/a> is featured in the I Heart Sapphfic Reading Challenge under the Action\/Adventure category. I\u2019ve chosen a snippet that shows you why it\u2019s the perfect fit for this category!<\/span><\/p>

Meg unclasped her crucifix and wrapped the chain around her hand, the cross sitting in her palm. Reaching into her pocket she pulled out the garlic oil and sprayed the man in the side of his face. With a roar he released the girl, who stumbled backwards. Before he had time to react Meg grabbed his throat, pressing the cross against his neck and forcing him back into the wall.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>

\u201cGo home,\u201d Meg said firmly to the girl, who turned and hurried away. Meg then turned her attention to the vampire. \u201cI have a few questions,\u201d she said calmly.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>

\u201cDo you know who I am?\u201d he wheezed against the pressure on his throat.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>
