This week I\u2019ve designed a jumper specifically to go with the Snippet! Those of you who have read Once Bitten will get it. If you haven\u2019t, move it to the top of your TBR, and then you\u2019ll get it!<\/p>

Rainbow Snippets<\/u><\/span><\/a> is a weekly challenge for writers and bloggers to post 6 sentences of LGBTQ+ fiction on their blog. Everyone then follows and comments on each other\u2019s posts, so if you\u2019re interested in queer fiction, you should check it out.<\/span><\/p>

This snippet is taken from the first time Meg meets Morgan, at a Halloween party, where Meg is dressed as a priest and feeling a bit anxious and awkward.<\/span><\/p>

Leaning against the bar was a woman in an expensive black trouser suit with a white shirt and black tie. Her blonde hair was slicked back and close against her head. She had very pale skin which made her dark brown eyes all the more striking and her bright red lipstick made the final statement against her otherwise monochrome ensemble.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>


<\/p>

\u201cFather.\u201d She nodded at Meg and the corner of her lip twitched in the smallest hint of a smile.<\/span><\/p>


<\/p>

\u201cMy child.\u201d Meg grinned and pulled up a bar stool one seat away from the woman. She must be a new client. Meg had not met her before, or maybe she was someone\u2019s plus one.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>
